Political dialogue on peace, unity should proceed: NSCN(K)

The National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Khaplang) today stated that it has been an ardent advocate of peace and unity among various national political parties struggling for self-determination of the Nagas. In a press note issued by the Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP) it stated that the NSCN (K) leadership, headed by S S Khaplang, resolutely upholds and honours its commitment to the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR), Covenant Of Reconciliation (COR) signed by S S Khaplang himself along with his counterparts Isak Swu and Singya. It said that the ongoing Naga unification and reconciliation process could be translated into a reality because of the positive responses of the Naga leaders to the constant mediation of the FNR. The NSCN as an inalienable partner in the peace venture once again reaffirms its un-wavering attachment and active collaboration in any endeavour that intends to promote fraternity, peace and reconciliation, the MIP note stated.
