In a communique, PAC Chief Dr T M Lotha and Member Secretary Z Lohe here today said the PAC suggested collective participation in the committee's meeting yesterday.
''The DAN-PAC feels there is a need to convene the ‘Joint Parliamentary Forum on Naga political issue so that collectively the sixty members of the House including Opposition and Ruling benches can jointly take part in facilitating the ongoing unity and reconciliation process,'' the communique said.
''The DAN PAC, while appreciating the efforts of the FNR (Forum for Naga reconciliation), calls upon all sections of the people to come forward and participate in the reconciliation process,'' it informd.
The committee also reiterated the stand of the alliance that the state government would pave the way for any alternative arrangement that may emerge through an honorable solution to Naga political issue.
