Postal employees train in Soft Skills

Kohima, February 15 : A Soft Skills Training for Postal Employees of Nagaland, held from February 9 to 12 at the Head Post Office Complex, Kohima, ended today with almost 40 participants benefiting from the programme.

The training programme focused on various skills required at the workplace such as knowing self, stress and conflict management, accepting and managing emotions, steps in building a positive self-esteem, managing conflict creatively, positive attitudes at workplace, communication and interpersonal communication skills, and negotiation skills.

The participants at the programme included post masters, assistant post master, staff and employees of the department from different parts of the state including the Head Post Office.

The programme was arranged in collaboration with Don Bosco Youth Centre (DBYC) Kohima, where C P Mathew, SDB, professor at Bosco Institute Jorhat, an MSW institute affiliated to Dibrugarh University, Ranjit Toppo, SDB, Director of Don Bosco Youth Centre Kohima, and Tarcisius Toppo, SDB, Director of Bosco Communications Dimapur, facilitated the training sessions.
