NPF claims law and order situation to be satisfactory

Kohima, Nov 21 : The Naga Peoples' Front (NPF), which is leading the ruling Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN), has maintained that the overall law and order situation in the state is under control and satisfactory.

Reacting to the allegation of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) that the DAN Government had failed to ensure security for the common masses the NPF Press and Media Bureau, in a release here today, said that there is no sign of lawlessness in the state.

The release said that the people are fully aware of the several steps which have been taken up by the state government, all of which have contributed towards the maintenance of peace.

The civil societies, mass-based organisations and NGOs have played a key role in the prevailing scenario, the release claimed.

The state police and administration is leaving no stone unturned in its endeavour to provide safety and security to the citizens, it claimed.
