The Overseas Naga Association said it was not a political organisation but as Nagas, most of them grew up with the forced political duality of “being Indian and non-Indian” at the same time.
“Our lives have been constituted by the last 60-plus years of unresolved political crisis and violence,” Viser Sanyu, president of the association, today said in a statement issued from Australia.
He said they were excited to be part of the recent efforts made for Naga unity and that they support dialogue.
