Nagaland lifts ban on poultry import from WB

Kohima, Jun 22 : The Nagaland government has lifted the ban on import of poultry and poultry products from West Bengal. The ban was in effect following the outbreak of Aviation influenza in Murshidabad district.

According to a notification issued by the Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, following the report of no such fresh cases, the department has lifted the ban of import of poultry birds and its products with immediate effect. The ban was imposed in April last year.
