As part of good will gesture, contestants of Miss Nagaland 2009 Beauty Pageant along with the organizer Beauty & Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN) and reigning Miss Nagaland Abin and Ist & 2nd runners-up today paid a visit to patients at the Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima (NHAK).
During their visit, cash were given to the patients in Isolation Ward, Children Ward, Oncology Ward including an HIV affected child. Miss Nagaland 2009 Beauty Pageant is scheduled for December 4 at the State Academy Hall, Kohima from 5:00 PM onwards. Altogether, 13 contestants will vie for the coveted title of Miss Nagaland 2009. Miss Nagaland 2009 winner will receive Rs. 50,000 while the first and second runners-up will pocket Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 20,000 respectively. The winner will represent Nagaland at the forthcoming Miss North-East Beauty Pageant in Mizoram sometime in January 2010.
