Western Sumi Hoho gives 15-day ultimatum to Nagaland Govt

Kohima, Jul 4 : The Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) gave a 15-day ultimatum to the Nagaland Government to identify and apprehend the culprits who attacked Inavi village June 30 last that left one killed and two others critically injured.

WSH president L K Achumi and General Secretary Vikato Shikhu in a joint statement today said the WSH at its general body meeting held at Dimapur yesterday deliberated on the June 30 attack on Inavi village and passed six resolutions including a 15-day ultimatum on the state government to identify and apprehend the attackers.

They said failing which the Government would be solely responsible for any untoward situation that might arose out of its failure.

WSH resolved not to accept the special committee constituted by the government to probe the attack on Inavi village as it would not serve any purpose.
