"Most Nagas are patriotic. They are ready to sacrifice life for their motherland. But corruption is taking an ugly shape. The younger generation has to strive hard to eradicate the menace," the Naga Hoho said in a statement signed by its president, Keviletuo Kiewhuo, and general secretary, P Chuba Ozukum.
Expressing concern over lack of employment, the Naga Hoho urged the government to provide local builders and suppliers with more opportunities instead of taking service from outsiders.
It also called upon the Naga entrepreneurs to come forward and prove that they were efficient and honest in their undertaking.
