The Naga reconciliation program which is to be held on 21 -22 February is God’s door for Naga people. Naga in general have to repent and seek God together this time. We must know the time if not, we might not get such season.
We all must take this as an opportunity for the new page to flip on. It should not be just another social gathering to fulfill some social obligation. It should be participated with a sense of gratitude. A sense of retrospection before God and people. In life we all have lots of personal short coming. Where our own personal weakness are overwhelming.
Like the prophet Isaiah said, “Woe is me! I cried. I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips. Like Isaiah can we see our own internal weakness? We feel too inadequate. Today can we open our own personal Pandora box. When can we see our own image in our mirror?
Where personal being should be willing to merge with a noble hope for naga. This might be the best time in our history where our naga family can put our head together. Our head together without Jesus will be futile in our own decision making.
Our decision making must be under the scrutiny of God’s wisdom and in naga context. Can we think further if we add our head together we feel feeble to overcome our oppressor? So what are we talking about when we are divided into pieces and fragments? Today each leader should be willing to reflect one’s own image, not how other looks.
The word repentance has become cheap usage of word in our context. It is not alien in our conversation among Christian circles. Have we defined from with or without Bible? True repentances do not mean perfection but it is willing to go to enter higher and new path not that path where we were entangled again and again. Many of us misused his grace instead of looking the future.
Many are revolving around a cyclic faith. We better move ahead to promise land. Life is precious and too costly to live in cyclic faith. This life is to live day by day. Pushing and shoving we are searching for truth forgetting Christ truth. We will live in fear and uncertainty in our own land.
Unless Nagas are united under one banner and willing to repent. Naga public and national worker will have to live in another dark phase of our history. To live in our pride and vanity for years is self -deception. It is a great loss to follow leaders who are self righteous and unwilling to hear people’s voice. All these are because of nothing but sin.
This repentance has become too secularized it has a good approach but in reality it has become clichés. Today this is an appeal to our national worker. Especially to different factions. We all need this greatest gift that God has given to us. Our personal and corporate sin.
I hope this has to begin from the chairman; secretary of NSCNs, FGN, NNC. This is an appeal for them to repent first to lead this nation if not God’s name has been use in vain for long in our political formation. We want to blend God in our controversy to gain sympathy from people. Yes God is holy and he is willing to give us another chance but dragging too much, misusing his grace is not biblical but anti-Biblical. This has to take in to consideration. Unless our heart is not connected right with God.
Nothing good can come out of it. These are days to search our own personal heart. Is it Passive or active? Are we really working for Nation or not? Heart is one of the main functions for our decision making.
Every day we make thousand of decision. We need a good guidance to these decisions making. The quality of our personal life is determined by the decision made by our self. So as the Bible said proverbs 4. 23. “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the well spring of life.”
Today we better step out boldly than before. For how many years? Are we not willing to admit our failures to live out as we ought to be, too phony! Too artificial. Let us not try to be a bit of ice berg show in sea.
We have to search our inner being. If we have a right sense to live out we are to make right decision. The decision making of our National leaders have to grow along with people’s mentality. Somewhere along the way gap has occurred. A man or women who have a God in their inner life will not produce bloodshed for more than 2 decades among naga.
Wisdom from above will not produce self righteous but rather to listen. We all have to admit and have to receive that great joy in our own personal level.
Our Personal and factional sin has to repent. It is the only hope to Naga. Our inability must not hide under the cloak of sovereignty. It is a time to say we cannot do alone. We need God who is in control, the government of India, Burma.
We need each other. When God has created us as naga and we refuse to recognize as one. It is the lie, we believe. So we have to listen to God who has given us each other as naga. But many factions leaders want to say others are not Naga.
Because they are not from our camp. It is a factional perversion myth. We refuse to accept other Naga brother and sister as naga. So accepting other naga is not a factional weakness but accepting our Naganess. If any faction sees other naga as their enemies they have to question self. Who Am I? They have doubt which needs to go deeper for the answer.
The words, I, Me, Mine are not acceptable in this age of interdependence. Real repentance is not to ask some group to come and merged in to our fold. It is not about our group. It is a third path. Paths were we are willing to see oneness.
Where our own weakness is seen crystal in order to ratify. Self sufficiency is killing our National worker. Too much favoritism to one’s own group has shed enough blood. We have woven our history with violence. Those who have a civil war in self, torn within also, give other what is their inside. The situation tells it candid.
It is time to favors God’s word because for long we have gone in our own word, in our own factional vocabulary. It is also a time for them to know what Naga people are favoring.
They talk about for future generation but they build only vanity for other and for their family. They cannot mingles with one another and talk about toiling for millions of naga people. They talk about salt and light but they are like salt without saltiness which are being trample down by Naga people.
They talk and talk to Government of India without any proper result. Yes some where we are divided in our opinion and we are slice into many parts but our leaders refuse to accept the reality. The power of sin is operating in the man’s heart.

1. Please no factions must come with a sense of factional superiority. Don’t lays down Guns on the table before you talk but be willing to consider you are on a table representing million of Naga.
2. Please no naga King Chilies’ on the table but a naga ghalo dish. Where old and young can enjoy sumptuously. Factional decision must not overcome naga general will.
3. Please don’t come just with a sense of social obligation to attend. It will give way to mistrust specially by younger generation to you. The patriotic feeling is fading away. The bell of patriotism has to ring and echo’s in our valley and hills.
4. Please don’t brush aside the upcoming generation whom you might think them to be immature today. Many of you are getting older and older so consider a future and take decision this season.
5. Please don’t act like a lion and fox because we want to see our leaders as man having five senses. Nothing more and less. Act like human being don’t go back to animal kingdom.
Repentance means asking forgiveness from God. Pleading before him and saying sorry from heart. Here it is not about others wrong but our personal being. Sorry means not defending, like in a court. Asking in faith because he is the source of that forgiveness.
The second step towards repentance is to receive forgiveness from God. Not through our own effort. But in Christ own great mercies. This is filled with compassion and love.
The third step in repentance is to believe that we have forgiveness from God. That no matter what we have done in the past. There is an ocean of forgiveness. Where sinners have chance to dive in to the sea of forgiveness.
The fourth step to repentance is to live out that forgiveness with a sense of gratitude to God. Our living standard turns in to his standard.
The fifth step toward repentance is to forgive someone because we are being forgiven which is impossible from our human point of View. So impossible become possible in Christ. We deserve condemnation. But we are now set free. We can share this forgiveness out of gratitude, with humility. Today we ask God for forgiveness from God as a Christian however. Have we refused to take another move? We must be willing to go ahead. Pardon was multiplied to us on the cross. This repentance gives hope to self, as well to any society. A good soil produces a good harvest so the answers are on its way. Naga Leaders, Yes you can shout and write and able to defend before Naga and the world. The answer is this. Are you true to God and self? One day the fruits will bears in the hills and valley, yes or no. You will pass away and generation will applaud or jeered at you. Dear leaders beware of self deception. A confusion leader gives chaos to his people. Naga national Leaders have burden for people for long and they are restless. We better share our burden to Jesus Christ. Matthew 11 :28. “Come to me, all who you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. “ All we have to do is casting and the rest he will do for us. How many decades Naga national leaders would like to use the wisdom which is not from God? It is a time to seek the face of God. To inherit self righteous with okay’s mentality and getting older is not a wisdom but folly. It is knowledge from Satan.
For long Naga people have seen what we can do by ourselves. In our own strength we have able to produce divided, mediocre, visionless and powerless Nation. It is a time that Naga sees what God can do through a united Naga family. We need to accept our weakness today to see as family but we have difference. A family tolerance character should be developed in our time. Our reconciliation must be defined within the preview of Genesis to revelation. If it is define from factional standard it will be no longer reconciliation but it will lead pieces not peace. I hope and pray that this reconciliation programme will be a time to seek God personally as well to readmit God in our national formation. If not it will be another social gathering.
