Naga youths win gold medals in Sepaktakraw for team India

Kohima, Aug 10 : Naga boys and girls, who were part of team India in the 25th Kings Cup World Sepaktakraw Championship, 2010, held at Chingmai in Thailand, won three Gold medals and one Bronze medal.

A release issued here by Nagaland Sepaktakraw coach Holshe Khrieo here said today that the achievement of the Indian Sepaktakraw team this year at the international event has been a milestone.

He informed that in the Kings Cup Championship, 2010, in the mens team event gold was won by Veseyie Koso, a police personal from Nagaland. The medals Mens Team Event won Gold and Regu Event won the Bronze medals. In the Women section, the Regu Event and Double Event won Gold medals. Four players from Nagaland-Netolu Medeo, Pungotolu Puro, Zashevoto Pusa and Viseyie Koso, have been selected to represent Team India in the Sepaktakraw in the China Asian Games this year, he added.
