Muivah may return to Kohima

KOHIMA, June 12 – NSCN-IM general secretary Th Muivah is likely to return to Kohima sometime next week for his onward journey to his native village Somdal in Ukhrul district of Manipur.

Sources revealed that Muivah will return to Kohima where he will halt for a few days before heading

for his proposed visit to Somdal which is still being opposed by the Manipur Government.

It may be stated that Muivah had started from Camp Hebron near Dimapur on May 5 on his journey to his village, but due to restrictions imposed on his entry by the Manipur Government, he had been forced to hold back at Viswema village near the inter-State boundary.

Nearly after a month, Muivah moved to Pfutsero under Phek district on June 4 despite rival factions, NSCN-K and NNC/FGN, issuing hard-hitting statements on his entry into the region.
