The extravaganza, which will begin at Naga heritage village Kisama near here, will have cultural troupes from Myanmar, Thailand, Korea and Japan besides the eight northeastern states.
Diplomats from a few south-east Asian countries would also participate in the event, state tourism department officials said.
The festival, organised every year in the first week of December, showcases Naga life and culture at the idyllic Kisama village, 12 km from here.
Kohima Chambers of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) is organising a 'night carnival' in the main shopping area of the town to give a taste of a night life because the capital town generally becomes deserted after dusk.
Special arrangements are being made by tour operators to ease the movement of visitors during the festival which will be formally inaugurated by Governor Nikhil Kumar.
