Speaking at the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee's (NPCC) felicitation programme at Congress Bhavan here on Tuesday, five-time chief minister of Nagaland, Jamir said after 60 years of the Naga political struggle, the Naga sare in a situation where they can neither go forward nor retract to a reasonably safe place.
He also regretted that the obsession with the Naga political problem had stonewalled other important aspects of human developmen.
Stating that there is a breakdown of governance in Nagaland, Jamir said the government in Nagaland is not allowed to function according to the Constitution and by both seen and unseen forces that are calling the shots.
