Top Naga rebel leaders meet, discuse reconciliation process

Kohima, Aug 26 : Top leaders of 'rival Naga groups' belonging to the 'NSCN-IM, NSCN (Khole) and Naga National Council (Federal Government of Nagaland)' met for the third time yesterday in presence of the 'Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR)' to explore practical and constructive ways towards a shared Naga future.

In a statement here today the FNR said that in the series of meeting that began on August 20 last and followed up on August 22, the rival Naga groups had forgiven each other and reconciled.

The forum informed that the high level meet yesterday focused on finding ways to take the reconciliation process forward.

The general secretary of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC), Rev Dr Anjo Keikung yesterday led the morning devotion and said how the uniqueness of Naga political and historical rights and that of the Naga Christianity needed to compliment each other.
