The south-west Monsoon has been vigorous over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar and Uttarakhand. It has been active over Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, west Uttar Pradesh and coastal and south interior Karnataka. While, it has been weak over Jammua and Kashmir, Marathwada and Vidarbha. Heavy to very heavy rains may occur at most places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand and Bihar, and at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and east Uttar Pradesh. Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Orissa, west Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Rain or thundershowers may occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Konkan, Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, interior Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep. They are likely at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat region, Madhya Maharashtra, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu, and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmsir, west Rajasthan, Saurashtra, Kutch and Marathwada.
