Official sources said here today the production of the mill had been suspended since 1992 and ever since, the Mill Trade Unions, the state government and the Centre had been continuously putting in their efforts to revive the mill.
The Nagaland Pulp and Paper Mill authorities, through a press release, offered to purchase bamboo from the state.

The plant would be under trial and observation for a couple of days and once the trials are over, the chipping unit would be put into commercial use.
Meanwhile, the revival package once approved, revival activities would run parallel to the chip production activity.
