Nagaland institute signs MoU with Chinese University

Kohima, Jun 14 : The Chinese Institute of Language and Arts, Dimapur (CILAD), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Qingdao Technological University, China, recently to facilitate Naga students willing to learn the Chinese language.

According to a statement issued by CILAD Director Jenny Haining Murry, the institution is situated in Notun Bosti at Dimapur and students can learn the beginners' course in Chinese language and culture in Dimapur and then proceed to Qingdao College near Beijing for advanced courses which range from six months to two years.

Besides Chinese language and culture at Qingdao, students can join elective courses like Chinese architectural design, Tai ji, Kung fu, Chinese painting, a survey to China and Chinese literature, she said.
