"We, however, refuse to be discouraged by the situation. We are also not prepared to give in to the politics of division," the FNR said in a statement, calling upon all Nagas to renew their determination and commitment to the reconciliation bid.
The FNR also renewed its resolve to fully remain committed to working for Naga reconciliation on the basis of their historical and political rights. "We will remain steadfast to work impartially without taking sides and without discrimination of any Naga political group - irrespective of geographical demarcations," the FNR statement said.
"It is our sincere plea to all Naga political groups to address the pending issues and disagreements in the spirit of love, non-violence, peace and respect to safeguard the Nagas historical and political rights. Our future is at stake. It's time for the Nagas to be decisive," it added.
