Naga group to hold concert in Mumbai

KOHIMA: Nagaland's Rattle and Hum Music Society will organize a concert at the St Andrew Auditorium in Bandra, Mumbai on June 21 marking World Music Day.

Society president Theja Meru and patron Khriehu Liezietsu said the Handshake Concert is aimed at promoting the exchange of cultures.

According to Theja, the objective of the event will be to "celebrate music, unite musicians from across the country and promote the values of peace and friendship."

The concert is an initiative of the Rattle and Hum Vision 2010, which was launched by Governor K Sankar-anarayanan in 2008.
