A press release received here today from the CHC Mao stated that the team of specialist doctors from California had arrived with medicines, Ultrasound machine and High-tech surgery equipment, and they were rendering service to the people coming from different villages of the district. A mammoth crowd of patients, both young and old, reportedly took advantage of this privilege of free service and treatment from the doctors abroad.
The doctors operated on patients with cases like appendectomy with legation, bi-lateral renal Calculus with legation Phimosis, Inguinal Hernia, Recurrent Appendectomy and Congenital Hydrocel with Hernia and other minor operations and treatments, the release stated.
The release further informed that the CHC Mao had also recently conducted a free medical camp with the District Health Mission Society, Senapati, and Zion Hospital, Dimapur, where many patients availed free medicines, services and operations.
