Kohima, Apr 12 : Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will inaugurate the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, the first ever modern Cricket Stadium in the northeastern and the Nagaland Cricket Academy in Sovima under Dimapur district on Saturday next.
In a release today, General Secretary of the Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) Abu Metha said the programme will be chaired by Parliamentary Secretary for Youth Resources and Sports Naiba Konyak.
A traditional exhibition cricket match between the Governor's XI and the Chief Minister's XI will also be played after the inaugural programme, the release informed and added the match will be the first ever day-night cricket match to be played in Nagaland.
